I'm currently taking a break from constant posting on social media for a variety of reasons.
One of them is 2020 has been seriously insane. I've been super busy putting out fires of all sorts, but the main reason is that I find it insensitive to other people who are going through much more terrible issues (sickness, loss of a loved one, loss of jobs, job security and financial stability...) to be too 'light' about the current state of affairs. Having said that, I do realize there is a certain value to maintaining as much optimism as possible and looking at the bright side of things, and so I try to share whatever simple joys of life I encounter here and there through these odd times. May all of you and your loved ones be well, safe and healthy.

Lately I've had an inexplicable pull and calling to get back to my art. Its been a long time sine I have done some painting and taken active part in art activity. I believe that the subconscious knows what it needs and it manifests it by the way of cravings. Name it food, activity or else, if you have a craving, it is my belief that it is that in some deeper level your subconscious is telling you to go for it.
The painting below is an old one from my archives.
When was last time you took some deliberate time to be WITH yourself?
I make a point to take breaks from the daily routine, to connect with myself IN the present moment and be mindful. Clarity comes from making these efforts, and clarity is what helps us be aware enough so that we can make the right moves and next decisions. I recently came back from Mexico City (CDMX) from what is the first leg on our endeavor to connect Latin America through blockchain and other technologies to solve problems big and small. For the last few days, I've had the pleasure to film and witness yet another generation of young ballet dancers culminate their training at Manhattan Youth Ballet.

I love summer in the city. So many different random magical spots like the one in the video below to be discovered!
So, I am aware I am lucky to work in artistically inclined endeavors. As of lately, mostly interior design. However this weekend I get to film dance shows. My work is technical, as it is only to film the shows and deal with lighting adjustment, but I allow myself to get lost in the joy of the dance shows, and let myself become inspired by the beauty I get to film.
If you are not so lucky to work in a similar situation, of anything artsy in ay way shape or form, you need not despair. Inspiration is everywhere. All you have to do is open your eyes, and your mind to the possibility of discovering it. Inspiration can be found in architecture, AD campaigns, magazines, books, peoples outfits and many more every day sources. So open yourself up to the possibilities, and let yourself soak in all the surrounding beauty, and be showered in inspiration. :)
Hello my dearest readers,
First of all, allow me to apologize for having taken such a long time off uploading the blog. 2018 was kind of a crazy year, so I will attempt to write posts and date them accordingly. In an effort to develop the discipline to post more consistently, I have decided to simplify the structure of my website. This way, whenever I have a new item to post, it'll simply get blogged about and properly itemized on the column to the right. Anyway, I wish not to bore you all with those details at this time, but I felt like I needed to make a statement, in case you stumbled upon this page and nothing made sense. As I'm on a performing arts hiatus (that I'm unsure will ever resume), I've been working on a few interior design projects. I love designing homes, I find it to be a special task, as I get to impact peoples day to day lives and create lovely spaces with only the best quality luxury Italian products in the world.
