In these design options, I combined the contemporary seating option with italian lighting as well as an italian marble and blown glass coffee table.

AfterVisualizationBeforeAfter building on the idea, I generated a few iterations building upon what my clients were dreaming their space to be, you can see the drawing visualization, which was later brought to life perfectly! Below you can see some of the suggestions I made to the clients. This space was entirely transformed when we shifted the sofa from the main living space to the den. The sofa was too large for the main living room, however it was the perfect size for this space. With some custom color pillows, we brought up the color from the art in the background, and took advantage of a niche above the storage to create a fun recessed lighting detail using some items found from travels prior that were long forgotten in the basement. In this project, I worked with mostly the items the clients had. By repositioning them in the space as well as getting accents such as the tall mirrors, pillows and a couple new pieces more, I was able to refresh the home as well as brought a new energy to it entirely.
With the mirrors, I achieved making the space even larger and allowed the feeling of the windows only being on one side of the room to disappear. |
