![]() Technology is wonderful, I get it. I have a phone that does everything, an ipad that does the same but with a bigger screen, gadgets here and there that take care of pretty much everything, from grocery shopping to entertaining me when I'm bored, to even saving me from walking places with my own two feet . Little by little I've gotten more and more tired of wasting my time online. From social media sites, to email checking, all the way down to spending too much time texting. I noticed it keeps me away from enjoying the moment I'm living, with whomever is around me, as opposed to ignoring who I'm with so I can stay in touch with whom I'm not. Realizing how much I'm depending on these gadgets the most basic activities of daily life, I'm going to make an active effort to try and cut down on my digital time, and limit my use of it just for work and/or absolutely necessary evils. Maybe that way I can get back to painting more, working out more, and even just enjoying whatever might be happening right in front of me, instead of looking down at my phone. Comments are closed.
